(1)When the child wears the headset in combination with the (2) Epihunter Classroom app at home, the parent-app will receive an alert when an absence seizure occurs. (3) The parent is immediately aware of the seizure, can add observations and react appropriately when needed. (4) All data is stored online. (5) Via a secure website parents can consult a full history of seizures.
The parent-app launches end of 2018 and will be available for Apple and Android smartphones. The app is offered for free with an Epihunter subscription.
